Junior Data Engineer

Optimiza is seeking a motivated Junior Data Engineer to join our data engineering team. In this role, you will assist in the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and architectures, enabling our organization to derive meaningful insights from data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and optimization of ETL processes to transform raw data into actionable insights.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and ensure data quality.
• Support the maintenance of data storage systems, such as data warehouses and databases.
• Help in the troubleshooting and resolution of data-related issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Contribute to documenting data workflows, pipelines, and architecture for better data governance.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering and analytics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in data engineering, data analysis, or related roles.
• Familiarity with SQL and experience with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar.
• Basic understanding of data ETL processes and tools.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python or Java is a plus.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI, is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
