Overview
The Senior Data Specialist will play a pivotal role in extracting valuable insights from complex data sets to support decision-making across the organization. This position involves overseeing data management processes, conducting analyses, and delivering actionable insights to drive business performance.
What you will do:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive data management frameworks that ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
- Perform complex data analyses to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define data requirements for reporting and analysis.
- Create and manage dashboards and visualizations to present key performance indicators and insights to stakeholders.
- Provide training and support to team members on data management best practices and tools.
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies and procedures.
How you will do it:
- Utilize advanced analytics tools and techniques to analyze data sets and conduct in-depth analyses.
- Work closely with IT and data engineering teams to design and implement data pipelines and data integration processes.
- Develop data quality standards and perform regular audits to ensure data integrity.
- Facilitate communication with stakeholders to understand their analytical needs and provide solutions.
What we look for:
- 4-7 years of experience in data analysis, data management, or a related field.
- Proficient in SQL, Python, or R, and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in the building technology or smart buildings industry is a plus.
