About Soar With Us

Founded by Olly Hudson and Joe Marston in 2019, Soar With Us is one of the fastest-growing advertising agencies for e-commerce brands in the UK, with a team of 40 A-Players. In 2024, we spent over £250m on Meta, Google, and TikTok ads profitably for our clients, including The Essence Vault, Art of Football, Bee Inspired, and more.

In 2025, we’re building a world-class data team to clean, organise, and analyse client ad performance data. By improving how we manage data, we’ll unlock smarter, faster decision-making that drives even better client results.

As a Mid-Level Data Engineer, you'll be crucial in helping architect, maintain, and optimise data pipelines, ensuring the information we rely on daily is clean, structured, and ready for analysis.

Main Responsibilities:

    • Build and maintain data pipelines from advertising platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok) into our data warehouse.
Support the design and development of scalable data infrastructure (Supabase, Firebase, AWS RDS/Redshift).
    • Maintain and improve data schemas and models that support reporting and AI analysis.
    • Collaborate closely with Growth and Creative teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
    • Assist with automating client reporting and performance analytics.
    • Uphold data integrity, quality, and documentation standards.
    • Proactively spot inefficiencies or blind spots in the data ecosystem and suggest improvements.
    • Embed AI tools into workflows where possible to optimise performance and reporting.

Requirements

    • 2+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Infrastructure roles.
    • Solid experience working with ETL pipelines and SQL databases (PostgreSQL, Supabase, Firebase, or similar).
    • Proficient in Python or TypeScript for data work.
    • Understanding of e-commerce, marketing metrics, or advertising data is a bonus.
    • Comfortable using AI tools like OpenAI or LangChain for data-driven tasks.
Bonus: Experience with vector databases, no-code/low-code tools (n8n, Make, Zapier), or building AI/LLM pipelines.

Who You Are:

  • You’re excited to build systems that make an immediate impact.
  • You think about user experience, not just code.
  • You thrive in a fast-moving environment where autonomy is encouraged.
  • You love working alongside business operators, marketers, and creatives.

Why This Role?:

  • Help shape a new data function from the ground up.
  • Your work will directly empower a team of 40+ marketers.
  • Work closely with a Lead Data Engineer and COO.
Opportunity to grow into a Lead position as the data team scales.

  • Flexible, hybrid working. We’re a modern agency, with trust and respect for everyone who works here. As such, we offer the option to work from our vibrant Leeds office, from home, or a combination of both.
