Job Summary:
Wealth Management Data and Analytics platform team is looking for a Mid-Level Azure DevOps Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate should have an overall experience of 6-8 years with 2-4 years of experience with Azure, CICD and Infrastructure as Code(Terraform).
As a key member of the central platform team, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining Azure DevOps pipelines, supporting infrastructure as code (IaC) practices, and working closely with cross-functional teams to optimize their CI/CD processes. Job Responsibilities:
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar role, with at least 2-4 years of hands-on experience working with Azure Cloud.
- Experience with Databricks as a platform engineer and Databricks Devops DAB pipelines for CI/CD.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Azure DevOps,GitHub including building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Azure Bicep.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or orchestration tools like Kubernetes,AKS
- Solid understanding of version control systems, primarily Git, and branching strategies.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or similar.
- Good working knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation tasks.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Azure Boards).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with various teams across the organization.
Good to Have:
- Certification in Microsoft Azure (e.g., AZ-400: Microsoft Azure DevOps Solutions) is a plus.
- Certification in Databricks Platform(Databricks Platform Administrator or similar).
- Experience with security and compliance best practices in cloud environments.
- Experience with application monitoring tools like New Relic, Datadog,Dynatrace etc.
Salary Range:
$99,600 - 169,200 USDSalary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
