Job Description Summary

Act as subject matter expert for Data Science to the local Medical Affairs team. Recommend data solutions to address evidence needs. Constant cross-functional collaborative work with Medical, Access, HEOR, Finance, Legal, Data privacy, QA, Supply and Patient Safety colleagues.Ensure latest methodologies and breakthrough technologies are implemented for Medical Affairs. 


 

Job Description

Major accountabilities:

  • Design, implement and maintain a Data Governance & analytics program for the medical team.
  • Promote a data driven decision-making process: data extraction, storage, governance, automation of processes and analysis with statistical techniques and visualization reports.
  • Promote the use of new digital technologies in the medical field to solve daily challenges.
  • Work together with the Business Excellence and Execution team for the implementation of management tools and visualization of KPIs.
  • Definition and monitoring of KPIs that allow evaluating the performance of the business
  • Segmentation and Targeting Analysis for optimization of strategic decisions before and after product launching.
  • Explore the opportunities and difficulties of implementing new technology in health care and navigate the healthcare barriers from stakeholders in analyzing gaps that can be closed with technology and data.

Ideal Background

  • Education: Desired degree in relevant discipline including data science, data mining, health services research, biostatistics, business intelligence

    Languages: Advanced English

    Experience:

  • Prior experience in Data Science and Data Governance
  • Proven experience and knowledge of the scientific method, research project design, statistical analysis and scientific publication.
  • Preferably prior experience working in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
  • Digital savviness
