Software Development Engineer 4

Job Title

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable full-stack applications using Java, Python, and Angular, while consistently practicing coding best practices.

• Conduct technical feasibility analysis, design, and implement advanced modular Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems and Agentic AI frameworks, leveraging open-source and Azure AI services.

• Utilize Kubernetes and Docker for containerization and efficient orchestration.

• Collaborate with AI researchers, data scientists, and product teams to understand problems and develop effective solutions.

• Ensure adherence to Agile and DevOps best practices to deliver high-quality software in an iterative development cycle.

• Guide and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.

• Work in a cross-functional team, contributing beyond defined boundaries to drive innovation.

• Acts as a reference for colleagues with less experience and supports junior team members.​

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10 years of strong hands-on experience with Java, Python, and Angular for full-stack development.

• 1+ years of expertise in building Conversational AI and Generative AI applications.

• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure Cloud, including exposure to Azure AI services.

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native application development.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps processes for continuous integration and deployment.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced product development environment.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for technology innovation.

• Good communication, strong leadership and mentoring abilities to support team members.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with AI-driven voice and vision applications.

• Exposure to multi-modal AI systems for enhancing user experience in travel and hospitality.

• Knowledge of ML Ops for managing AI model lifecycle in production.
