Sr. Engineer, Omt Cost Efficiency

As a cost efficiency engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will report to the OMT Cost organization. The team defines, drives and delivers cost targets, strategies and results to meet Micron Taiwan business need. The efficiency team under cost division is to enable productivity improvements, automation solutions and reporting for analysis to support entire cost and planning team and will act as POC in network cost organization as pioneer.

• Work closely with stakeholders including Engineering team, Procurement team, Central Cost Team, Site Cost teams, SMAI and Program Management team to identify and implement end-to-end system solution for identification of cost opportunities and value capture

• Work with a team of Data Scientist and Data Engineers, making an important contribution to the design, analysis, and implementation of data science solutions and business improvement ideas

• Programming language: proficient in C#, Python, SQL; 

• Experience on the web development especially on ASP.NET, Html, CSS, Javascript, Angular is a plus;

• Able to lead projects(Ex: labor productivity improvement, system enhancement, BKM system deployment from network) to work with cross-functional teams and tenaciously achieve business result

Requirements:

• Proven skills on system development and automation solutions

• At least 3-5 years of work experience in Cost projects and Cost initiatives within Semiconductor operations functions

• Semiconductor cost / process / equipment related experiences are a plus

• With good oral and written English communication skills.

• Time & Project Management skills & strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Highly self-motivated and disciplined working behavior with strong stress tolerance

• Fast learner with a passion for processes and multi-tasking.
