We’re looking for a (Senior) Analytics Engineer (m/f/d) to help build a reliable, scalable data foundation that powers decisions across our organization. You’ll work at the intersection of data engineering and analytics, transforming raw data into clean, modeled datasets that support Marketing, Product, Operations, and beyond.

OUR DATA TEAM

  • Our strategic leader, who is responsible for aligning the company's strategies with our team's priorities through her knowledge and vision of the business.

  • The technical data leader, responsible for sizing the team, defining work dynamics to improve deliveries, looking after the career development of team members and defining data project roadmaps.

  • Data engineers, who help us integrate any new source into our Data Lake and structure our Data Warehouse.

  • Analytics engineers, who master our dashboards, grow our Data Warehouse with data quality, applying all the business logic to our raw data.

THE ROLE - YOUR PASSION

Developing and Maintaining Data Pipelines:

  • Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines using tools such as Fivetran and DBT.

  • Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the ETL process.

  • Develop and maintain scalable data infrastructure on Google Cloud BigQuery

  • Implement and maintain CI/CD practices for data workflows to ensure reliable and automated deployment of pipeline changes.

Datawarehouse (DWH) Integration and Management:

  • Lead the integration of data from various sources into a DWH and reverse ETL pipelines.

  • Manage and optimize the flow of customer data across systems to ensure efficient data processing and storage.

  • Develop strategies for leveraging the DWH to create a unified and actionable customer view.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into technical requirements.

  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations through clear and concise communication of complex data engineering results.

  • Guide stakeholders in implementing data-driven strategies and solutions.

Supporting Team Members:

  • Conduct peer reviews of code and data engineering approaches to ensure best practices and knowledge sharing.

  • Mentor junior data engineers and analysts, providing guidance on technical challenges and career development.

Fostering a Data-Driven Culture:

  • Develop and deliver training sessions on data engineering topics, tools, and best practices to enhance data literacy across the organization.

  • Promote the use of modern data engineering tools and methodologies in decision-making processes through workshops, seminars, and other educational activities.lf-sufficient in getting the answer to their business questions by themselves

WHAT YOU NEED TO SURF THE WAVE WITH US

Educational Background:

  • You have successfully completed a bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering, physics, informatics, computer science, or other STEM-related areas.

Professional Experience:

  • You have several years of relevant experience as a data engineer, with a strong focus on building and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure.

  • You have a proven track record of working extensively with Segment and Customer Data Platforms.

Technical Skills:

  • You have advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation

  • You are skilled in using Python for data engineering tasks and automation.

  • You have extensive experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions, particularly Google Cloud BigQuery.

Analytical and Decision-Making Abilities:

  • You are adept at making data-driven decisions and guiding stakeholders to achieve optimal strategies based on actionable insights.

  • You possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex data engineering challenges into clear, actionable solutions.

Communication Skills:

  • You are business fluent in English, both written and verbal.

  • You can effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with diverse teams.
