About the role:
As a Data Analyst at SEB, you'll be part of an inclusive Business Solutions team of professional and engaged colleagues. In our dynamic environment, you'll have the opportunity to work with international projects and play a key role in developing and ensuring our data journey. With your analytical skills, you'll provide your expertise in the compensation & benefits area, participate in key change initiatives.  
Even if your focus is data, you will also be given the opportunity to work in a broader context contributing to other initiatives within the team’s areas of responsibility, for example process efficiency and management or system development. 
By collaborating and networking with other teams in HR and IT, you'll also have room to explore other business areas and grow your skills further. As a Data Analyst with a broader focus you will:

• Dive into data projects, reporting and analytics initiatives, collaborating with specialists to uncover meaningful insights that support smarter business decisions. 
• Support ongoing projects by connecting the dots between data, business goals, and stakeholder perspectives. 
• Design and build dashboards and visual tools that turn complex data into clear, compelling stories for stakeholders across the organization. 
• Prepare, clean, and validate data to ensure it’s accurate, reliable, and ready for action—because great decisions start with great data. 
• Analise business processes and identify opportunities for improvement, automation, or innovation—then help bring those ideas to life. 
• Gather and translate business needs into structured requirements that guide both data-driven and strategic initiatives. 
• Present your findings with confidence, clarity, and a touch of creativity—making data and ideas accessible to everyone. 
• Drive or participate in initiatives within the team’s other areas of responsibility, for example within process management or system development, improving way of working and developing new solutions 
• Keep your curiosity sharp by exploring new tools, methods, and technologies to continuously elevate how we work with data and business insight. 

To thrive in this role, we believe you have:

• Experience with data visualization tools (for example Tableau, Looker or similar) and knowledge of querying languages 
• Higher education within a relevant field (bachelor's degree or higher) 
• Ability to transform complex questions into understandable activities and insights 
• Ability to work with both IT and business teams, bridging the gap between them 
• Willingness to collaborate and to share, educate and grow the awareness of the data related topics and methodologies. 
• An interest in developing your skills in areas such as process management and system development 
• Great communication skills and fluency in English. 

We consider it a significant advantage if you have:

• Previous experience working as a data or business analyst. 
• Experience with Agile methodologies and using JIRA. 
• Previous experience from working in HR
