The role

The Senior Data Analyst – People Analytics plays a pivotal role within the Workforce Analytics & Insights team. This senior position supports the Workforce Analytics & Insights Lead in developing a robust business intelligence framework, enhancing self-service and ad hoc analytics, and delivering essential workforce insights. Key responsibilities include improving workforce understanding through data analytics, fostering data literacy, driving automation, ensuring data integrity and coaching the current team of analysts.  A significant part of this role will involve steering the Analytics and Insights function as we transition to new delivery patterns as part of Crown’s Workday Implementation Program.

Some of your Responsibilities:

  • Use workforce data to support deeper understanding and better data-driven decision-making through the production of in-depth analytics and insights.
  • Collaborate with SMEs (e.g., P&C Business Partners and Consultants) to develop a contextual framework for delivering insights and consult with the Business and P&C on the use of workforce analytics to support business solutions.
  • Develop and maintain the HR Business Intelligence Framework, implementing strategies for applying business intelligence across the HR portfolio in consultation with stakeholders.
  • Design, build, and deploy BI solutions within Workday and Power BI, providing core HR metrics and demographics, and develop sustainable extraction patterns for delivering datasets from various sources and databases.


What We're Looking For:

  • Highly analytical with strong problem-solving abilities to address business challenges using data-driven approaches.
  • Significant experience in people analytics, data modeling, SQL, Python, R, HRIS (e.g. Workday, SuccessFactors), and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to partner with stakeholders, including the Executive team and the P&C Leadership Team, and present findings effectively.
  • Experience mentoring or supervising team members, with proven experience in process redesign and implementation.
