Data Analyst

We’re coming off a strong year and are setting even higher ambitions for the future. To help us reach the next level, we’re looking for a Data Analyst to join our team.

As a Data Analyst at Ambyint, you will report to the Data Science & Data Engineering Lead. In this role, you will be integral in the development and continuous improvement of our artificial lift optimization software. You’ll work closely with both the Data Science and Software teams to wrangle, contextualize, and visualize data using scalable cloud-based technologies and business intelligence tools. Your expertise will help turn complex data into actionable insights and improve the product’s value proposition.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Work independently and collaboratively to deliver high-impact data products that directly contribute to the success of our artificial lift optimization platform
• Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to wrangle, contextualize, and visualize data using various BI tools and cloud-based technologies
• Develop, enhance, and maintain interactive dashboards for OT/IT/ET data visualization and analysis
• Translate complex numbers, facts, and metrics into actionable insights for decision-making using your analytical skills and data visualization techniques
• Focus on open standards and open-source solutions, prioritizing them over proprietary solutions whenever possible
• Work with cross-functional teams to design scalable cloud-based processes that support analysis, product development, and commercial initiatives
• Participate in a strong team environment, exploring new ideas through experimentation, prototyping, and rapid feedback cycles
• Live, breathe, and work in the Cloud to ensure seamless integration with our platform
• Embrace Agile methodologies such as SCRUM and Kanban to drive efficiency and ensure timely delivery of projects

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of experience in a data analyst role, with a focus on cloud-based technologies and data visualization
• Proficiency in business intelligence (BI) tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
• Strong knowledge of relational data concepts and mastery of SQL for developing analytical data products
• Expertise in data wrangling, data analysis, and data visualization techniques
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and cloud-based data analysis tools
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes (dbt) and working with structured and unstructured data
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment (SCRUM, Kanban)
• Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate data products
