The Role:

Our team is looking for a highly skilled Director – Solution Architecture & Digital Delivery with expertise in Platform development, data architecture & design, cloud platforms and AI and Machine Learning and delivering digital & data products to our businesses. The Solution Architecture & Digital Delivery leader will be responsible for designing, creating, deploying and managing data architecture as well as designing and delivering Platform, Data/AI solutions including the framework and models to enable machines to learn from data, make predictions, and automate processes. He/She will serve as an expert advisor in the areas of Platform development, Data/AI strategy.

The role involves bringing together enterprise architecture viewpoints such as business, application, information, and technology architecture to design solutions that deliver business value through the build out of our Platform & data strategy in the Google Cloud Platform to enable our digital business transformation and harness the value of data systems needed to advance manufacturing operational excellence and customer engagement. The role works with larger team to generate & incubates new ideas in the Data/AI landscape.

What You’ll Do: There are 2 core areas of responsibilities for this role as below

Data & Platform Architecture

• Define & Design Platform Architecture keeping all layers of application in perspective from Data Ingestion all the way to UI/UX that will significantly impact wide range of users across R&D and other functions
• Define and design data models, ontologies, taxonomies and AI solutions that align with business objectives and technical requirements.
• Provide data model architectural guidance and leadership to delivery teams, ensuring the successful implementation of data and AI solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders, to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
• Develop and maintain scalable data models, and data architectures to support analytical and operational needs.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate AI technologies and frameworks
• Design and implement AI agent architectures, integrate LLMs and develop smart agent frameworks
• Ensure ethical AI practices by establishing guidelines and best practices which include considerations for bias, transparency and accountability.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of data systems and AI models.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing, data engineering, and AI.

Digital Delivery:

• Responsible to work with RD&E, Business and Data team(s) to prioritize deliverables and work with global Data & AI team including ITC (India Technology Center) team members to deliver Digital Platform(s), Data & AI products to our Business
• Work across teams to drive Product & Program management of Digital products delivery, ensure leaders and stake holders are updated on regular basis, work with project managers to ensure program is on track, work across regional RD&E teams to understand the regional needs to incorporate into the solution(s)
• Work across the team to help drive Agile/PI planning, drive DevSecOps culture and work closely with other Architects to evaluate new tools and technologies
• Will be intimately involved in Hiring & building Application, Data & AI team in ITC (India Technology Center). This Role will also be responsible in building & leading a global team of software engineers
• Work seamlessly across the Digital Platform & Data, RD&E and Business teams to drive next generation technology and solutions to help drive Business speed to market and better quality of Entegris products and solutions.
• He/She will also work closely with Digital Supply chain team to ensure there is a cohesive architecture and integration between Enterprise, RD&E & Supply chain Data models/sets
• This role is expected to travel Globally 25% - 50% of their time and will have flexible work schedule to support global time zones to accomplish business deliverables

What We Seek:

• Certification in cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Certified, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
• Deep understanding of data modelling and governance principles including defining taxonomy and ontology, metadata strategy, and knowledge graph technology
• Deep knowledge around best practices for data governance, data quality, and data security. This involves ensuring that data systems comply with regulatory requirements and organizational policies
• Expertise in AI technologies, ML algorithms & frameworks
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Expertise on Applications development using low-code environments such as Power platform, Outsystems, React/cSharp/Github Co-Pilot/Gemini
• Recruiting, working, managing, mentoring teams in a global setting

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Platform Development, Data Architecture, AI Architecture or similar role.
• 20+ Years of industry experience with 2+ years of experience in AI
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Expertise in Platform architecture, data engineering, data modeling, and data/AI architecture.
• Experience with AI and machine learning technologies and frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills that fit a global work culture with remote teams
