Position Summary:

As the Marketing Data Specialist on our Marketing Team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact collaborating closely across marketing and cross-functional teams. As part of this role, you will help play a role in delivering our digital blueprint, technical roadmap, and driving transformational growth.

The Data Specialist serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Marketing Data. This role focuses on managing product data processes, external managed services, and cross-functional collaborations to maintain data integrity across systems and retailer websites.

Where You'll Work

Our company in-office schedule is designed to maximize collaboration & relationship building balanced with flexibility and well-being with 3 days in office and Thursdays/Friday being remote, flex days.

What You'll Do:

This role plays a critical part in driving Welch's multi-year digital transformation and enhancing product data management processes. As a Marketing Data Specialist at Welch's, reporting to the Director of Brand Marketing, you will oversee key projects such as:

  • Contributing to the modernization and migration of Welch's legacy systems, adhering to a cloud-first strategy
  • Managing Change for Product and Packaging Information Changes (PPIC)
  • Overseeing Product Information Management (PIM) Integration and Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems
  • Managing Infor Suite, including MRM, PLM, and Salsify
  • Ensuring accurate data transfer to the Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN) for warehouse inventory tracking
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for Marketing and Sales teams to ensure correct product data setup for retailer item setups
  • Managing the external Managed Services Team (e.g., Sitation), prioritizing tasks, and ensuring alignment with cross-functional teams
  • Leading the New Item Setup & Syndication Process, ensuring accuracy in product data uploads and integration with core project timelines
  • Maintaining product data accuracy across internal and external systems (e.g., retailer websites)
  • Developing and optimizing cross-functional processes to ensure accurate and timely product data.
  • Establishing and maintaining accurate data integrations of Master, Transactional, and Reporting data, ensuring seamless integration with the ERP systems

Who You Are:

  • Demonstrates ability to foster positive work environments and build relationships across the organization, particularly within the Marketing, Supply Chain, Sales and IT Teams
  • Highly motivated with an eagerness to learn new skills and a willingness to take a hands-on approach
  • Capable of executing Welch's digital transformation, overseeing the implementation of business requirements and IT capabilities
  • Strong analysis and resolution skills, with excellent organizational, communication, and data presentation abilities

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of experience in the fields of Analytics, Data Science, or Strategy demonstrating the ability to derive insights offering marketing solutions
  • Familiarity with digital marketing channels and tools such as Infor Suite -- Marketing Resource Management (MRM), Digital Asset Management (DAM), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and Product Information Management (Salsify)
  • CPG Experience a plus!
