Data Engineer

We are looking for a Data Engineer to support the development and optimization of Change Data Capture (CDC) pipelines in Azure Data Factory and SQL. The ideal candidate will work alongside senior engineers to enhance performance, security, and data governance while ensuring efficient data ingestion. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Assist in CDC implementation and optimization, focusing on query tuning, incremental data processing, and data integrity checks. 

• Support performance testing and troubleshooting of latency issues in ADF, CDC & SQL. 

• Configure security & access controls, including RBAC, encryption policies, and compliance frameworks. 

• Develop and test email notifications for CDC failures in ADF. 

• Assist in data governance documentation, including metadata management and role-based access tracking. 

• Maintain technical documentation for CDC workflows, performance benchmarks, and security configurations. 

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills 

• 2+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on Azure (ADF, SQL), data ingestion, and CDC processes. 

• Knowledge of SQL performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization. 

• Understanding of data security best practices, including access control and encryption. 

• Experience with error logging and monitoring solutions. 

• Strong problem-solving and documentation skills.
