Our Institutional Retirement division provides pension risk transfer (PRT) solutions for UK and US defined benefit (DB) schemes, and reinsurance solutions from our global hub in Bermuda. We work with companies, DB pension schemes and their advisors to help them secure and protect scheme members’ retirement benefits.

Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Liability Data Analyst to join our Liability Data, Pension Risk Transfer team. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data throughout the transaction lifecycle, supporting both internal and external stakeholders. If you have a passion for data management and a keen eye for detail, we would love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing:
- Taking responsibility for operational data management including data cleansing, validation, transformation, integration, and mining
- Consulting with internal customers to understand their requirements and deliver the required solutions
- Working with internal partners to improve the quality of data on all systems
- Supporting the testing and documenting of processes to ensure consistency and alignment with UK PRT requirements
- Following agreed processes to maintain a full audit trail of all benefit and data items
- Keeping internal customers and relevant third parties updated on key information impacting their processing
- Ensuring accurate data is passed on to relevant downstream users for loading to core administration systems
- Supporting Pension Risk Transfer Transactions from end to end
Qualifications
Who we're looking for:
- Degree level or demonstrable equivalent experience in analytics field
- Pension Qualification (such as PMI) or demonstrable equivalent experience is desirable
- Understanding of defined benefit pension schemes is beneficial
- Proven technical aptitude and knowledge of relevant legislation (GDPR, Money Laundering, Complaints, Treating Customers Fairly)
- Highly customer-focused with the ability to maintain and improve relationships with internal and external customers
- Advanced user experience in MS Excel
- Familiarity with programming code such as Alteryx, Python, or SQL is beneficial
- Experience in delivering best practice MI solutions (e.g., highlight reports, management dashboards)
