Data Analytics and Sales Reporting Intern

Lotus Cars Europe B.V. is responsible for the Marketing, Sales and After Sales of the Lotus Cars products in the European region.

Summary:

We are looking for a HBO (or WO) student in the third or last year of study as Data Analytics and Sales Reporting Intern in our Sales Department. This will be for a period of 6 months starting asap in our European HQ based in Amsterdam.

This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analytics within the automotive industry while contributing to the success of a renowned brand.  You will support our sales and marketing team by analyzing data, generating insights, and creating reports to drive strategic decision-making.

Activities:

• Analyze sales data, including revenue recognition, registrations & order takes.
• Identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Microsoft Excel and PowerBI to visualize sales performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand business needs, and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Assist in data collection, cleansing, and preparation to ensure accuracy and reliability of analysis.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses to answer specific business questions and support decision-making processes.
• Assist in documenting processes, methodologies, and best practices for data analytics and reporting.


We are looking for a person who:

• Real passion and proficiency in data analytics and management, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data manipulation, analysis, and modeling.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI or similar business intelligence tools for data visualization and report generation.
• Ability to interpret complex data sets and communicate insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate in English within cross-functional teams.
