As a Data analyst\Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing, monitoring, and maintaining the product, providing solutions for use, increased efficiency, and quality. Providing actionable insights to improve business operations and strategies.
Your role involves a blend of business acumen, data analysis, and communication skills, making it a dynamic and challenging position that will grow to a business analyst role.
Responsibilities
- Data Analysis: Collecting and evaluating information. Data reconciliation to compare and verify data sets from customers' data streams.
- Reporting and Documentation: create regularly detailed reports to communicate findings and recommendations. Designing graphic depictions of facts (graphs, charts, etc.).
- Process Optimization: Assessing current recons of data ingestion and suggesting improvements to raise output and efficiency.
- Execute jobs in AWS (step functions, schedulers), monitor, and troubleshoot.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Cooperating across team members to grasp requirements and carry out enhancements. Proven success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Attention to Detail: Given the need for accuracy in data analysis and reporting, a keen eye for detail is essential.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operations Analyst – execute and monitor AWS jobs and report errors. Data take on, Recons between files and tables.
- Data Analyst – analyzing data
- Minimal Junior Business Analyst
Educational Qualifications:
- Matric / Grade 12 essential
- 3-year Degree / N. Diploma or B-Tech / Computer Science/Engineering degree
Experience
- 3+ years of working experience in the SDLC
- Experience working in a Cloud environment, preferably AWS.
- Experience in Agile software development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, SAFe).
Skills
Essential
- ETL knowledge
- Database Management Systems: SQL databases for handling large data sets. (most SQL already exists)
- Be able to read and understand existing Data Model.
- Understand Data mapping (source to target)
- Strong Excel skills, with an aptitude for learning other analytics tools
- Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports, and presentations.
