Senior Project Manager with focus on Data and Technology

Job Description
 

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our growing Platform Management team, which plays a key role in driving firm-wide transformation through strategic project delivery. This is a high-impact role for a seasoned professional with a strong track record in leading complex, data-centric initiatives across business and technology domains. 

You will work at the intersection of strategy, technology, and operations, managing cross-functional teams and engaging stakeholders across all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate combines deep project management expertise with a strong understanding of data platforms, integration frameworks, and governance models, enabling scalable and sustainable business solutions. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of complex (data) projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget;

• Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and end-users, to define project requirements, scope, and deliverables; 

• Understand business and solution architecture to help shape the target operating model during project execution; 

• Build, mentor, and lead high-performing project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment; 

• Ensure transparent communication and effective reporting to sponsors and governance bodies; escalate issues and manage risks proactively; 

• Elicit and prioritize functional and non-functional requirements from business and technical stakeholders; 

• Apply best practices in project and change management, leveraging both Agile and hybrid methodologies to optimize delivery. 

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on data-heavy and cross-functional technology projects in the financial services sector; 

• Demonstrated expertise in data architecture, governance, integration, and platform transformation; 

• Strong experience managing strategic programs with significant business and IT impact; 

• Excellent stakeholder engagement, leadership, change management and conflict resolution skills across all organizational levels; 

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with a hands-on, delivery-focused mindset; 

• Experience in the asset management industry, more specifically private markets and its corresponding systems is a plus; 

• Proficient in Agile, Scrum and traditional delivery methods; certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 or SAFe are a plus;
