Description of assignment

Within the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) team we aim to deliver a reliable forecast to plan and prepare our supply base (factories, suppliers and physical distribution). In order to improve the accuracy of our forecast we need to regularly analyse large data sets based upon which improvements can be determined. For example, compare forecast with actuals and perform a gap analysis from different perspectives, analyse historical data and find trends to better predict in the future, etc.

Department description

The Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) team in Veghel consists out of 7 employees, each with their own expertise within the S&OP cycle. We are part of Supply Chain Center Global, aiming for globally aligned planning and processes, where the global planners also fulfill their role for EU specifically. We have a close connection to our planners in North America (2x) and China (1x).

Tasks/responsibilities

• Data analyses using large datasets from different sources
• Find root causes, trends, synergies, and translate into conclusions and recommendations
• Support with operational tasks like preparing recurring reports and analyses
• (optional) support with development and maintenance of PowerBI dashboarding

Your profile

• Experience with data analyses
• Excel, PowerBI and programming in SQL and Python.
• A strong conceptual thinker and communicator.
• *Mandatory enrolment to a Dutch Education System & resident of The Netherlands.
