We are looking for a highly motivated individual, passionate about building useful software solutions and keen on working with AI to build data analytics frameworks and tools to join GE Healthcare. As the ML Ops Engineer, you will work with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Analytics Engineers, and Researchers on building world-class software tools in the healthcare domain.

Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities:
  • Integrate AI models for IHI grants (Predictom, Synthia, Thera4Care) and the national grant IMAGENE.

  • Develop and maintain the AI Research Suite (platform) for data connectivity, storage, AI analytics, and visualization.

  • Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and medical professionals on projects involving large, complex data sets.

  • Design, develop, and maintain data analytics frameworks, tools, and services.

  • Evaluate new software tools through POCs and propose solutions.

  • Document guides, systems design, reference architectures, and implementations.

  • Provide analysis and reporting to improve processes and customer experience.

  • Complete tasks on time and with high quality.

  • Adapt to new environments and changing requirements.

Education Qualification:
  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience.

Technical Expertise:
  • Experience with Amazon AWS, microservices, and serverless technologies.

  • Proficiency in inference deployment frameworks (ONNX, OpenVINO, TensorRT).

  • Strong software development/testing principles: TDD, CI/CD, code refactoring, coding standards.

  • 2+ years of experience in public cloud infrastructure (AWS/other).

  • Proficiency in Python and data visualization libraries (e.g., matplotlib, seaborn).

  • Experience with VCS systems (git) and Linux (commands, bash scripting).

Business Acumen:
  • Manage business partner relationships and define solutions.

  • Break down problems and estimate development tasks.

  • Communicate status updates, challenges, and solutions proactively.

  • Write documented and tested code and algorithms.

Leadership:
  • Strong team player collaborates well with others.

Personal Attributes:
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to communicate complex issues clearly.

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to take action despite incomplete information.

  • Recognizes own strengths and development needs and actively works to improve.

Eligibility Requirements:
  • Legal authorization to work in Hungary/Europe.

  • Willing to work in Budapest or Szeged for a minimum of 2 days weekly.

Desired (Optional) Characteristics:
  • Experience in the healthcare industry.

  • Experience in 3D imaging, especially medical imaging.

  • Experience in software packaging (e.g., RPM).

  • Experience in AI (Machine Learning and Deep Learning).
