YOUR MISSION

 

The Advanced Engineering group is researching the use of generative AI to enhance the realism of synthetic data used to train sensor fusion and perception networks, as well as to generate entirely new scenes. The group is also researching the use of large language models to assist with scenario generation and AI explainability challenges. These innovative efforts are not only aimed at increasing the cost-effectiveness, diversity, and reusability of training data but also at revolutionizing the way AI systems learn and interact with the world. By leading these advancements, you will shape the future of AI development and deployment for Leddartech.

YOUR MISSION

As a Senior AI Scientist and Algorithm Developer, your mission is to lead the advancement of AI-driven sensor technologies by developing new algorithms at the intersection of robotics, machine learning, and sensor fusion. You will spearhead research initiatives that push the boundaries of synthetic data realism, design innovative training scenarios, and enable reliable AI deployment in complex, real-world environments. Your expertise will directly influence the development of intelligent systems that learn efficiently, adapt dynamically, and perform with high fidelity across diverse conditions.

Applied Research, Algorithms Design, and Development

  • Algorithm development for our autonomous vehicle neural simulation stack
  • Conduct comprehensive literature surveys, proof of concepts, and full product-oriented algorithms research in AI and data-driven applications

Team Collaboration and Research Activity Leading

  • Contribute to the development, integration, and testing of the codebase in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams

The Ideal candidate for this job will have

  • PhD in AI, Computer Science, or Robotic
  • 3- 5+ years significant experience in algorithm development and innovations in the fields of robotics, autonomous vehicles, machine learning, AI-driven systems, and generative AI
  • Experience in research projects related to applied sciences and the deployment of algorithms for real-world applications
  • Publications in renowned conferences and journals such as CVPR, ICCV, NEURIPS, ICML, or similar
  • NeRF, Gaussian splatting reconstruction
  • Proven experience delivering and maintaining production-grade software
  • Strong team player and team "maker," fostering a collaborative, innovative environment
  • Effective cooperation with other groups and customers to drive technology deployment
