POSITION SUMMARY:

Audax is looking for a dynamic, motivated Software Development Intern to join the business solutions team. This position will be responsible for the design, development, and deployment of IT software applications with hands-on experience. You will collaborate with the data engineering, reporting, strategic resources and deal teams to create or modify processes to fit the business needs. As a key resource on the development team, you’ll be at the forefront of enhancing, testing and documenting our system workflows.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate in weekly and ad-hoc meetings across departments, engaging with stakeholders at all levels throughout the firm to drive innovation and deliver impactful solutions.

• Develop and deploy automated processes using various programming languages or cloud-based tools.

• Designing, implementing, maintaining and scaling Audax’s data ecosystem.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.
• Support the team in troubleshooting and debugging software issues.
• Contribute to the development of REST APIs and other backend services.
• Play an integral role in designing ETL processes and analytic pipeline for investment professionals.
• Provide data validation and data quality assessments. Identifying and resolving data anomalies.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent academic background).

• Exposure to various programming languages such as C# and Python.
• Experience with SQL and database management.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of the Power Platform including Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate and MS Office Suite.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Capable of working effectively in a team environment.

• Ability to interact in an efficient and meaningful way with all levels of the organization.

• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

• Strong written and oral communication skills.

LOCATION: Boston, MA, 3 days in the Office
