To carry forward our mission we are looking for an Algorithm Specialist to join our team.

WHAT WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO TAKE CARE OF

• Design, analyze, and implement efficient and scalable algorithms, particularly in areas like machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data analytics. Identify, define, and solve complex problems through innovative algorithmic approaches.

• Conduct research to explore and develop new mathematical techniques, algorithmic methods, and AI models. Stay updated on the latest scientific developments, trends, and publications in algorithmic research, applied mathematics, and AI.

• Evaluate, optimize, and improve algorithm performance to ensure maximum efficiency, accuracy, and reliability. Conduct benchmarks and validations to verify algorithmic solutions meet technical and business requirements.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (Data Science, Software Engineering, Business Intelligence) to ensure algorithmic solutions align with practical use cases and business needs. Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members, promoting best practices in algorithm design and implementation.

• Prepare detailed technical documentation, reports, and presentations of research findings and solutions. Contribute to scientific publications, technical papers, or white papers showcasing innovative internal research and solutions.

WHAT WE WISH YOU’D BRING WITH

• Master’s or PhD in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related quantitative field.

• Proven experience in developing and applying advanced algorithms in AI, Data Science, or Big Data contexts.

• Strong mathematical foundation (e.g., linear algebra, probability, statistics, combinatorial optimization).

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, Java, or similar.

• Hands-on experience with ML/AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).

• Familiarity with large-scale data processing, SQL/NoSQL databases, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Excellent analytical thinking, autonomy in R&D activities, and problem-solving skills.

• Proactive collaboration style and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.

• Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken (C1 level).

NICE TO HAVE

• Postgraduate certificates or PhD in related fields.

• Previous experience in large-scale project management.

• Previous experience abroad.

• Experience working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
