The Intelligence Team is M&C Saatchi’s global Data & Insights Centre of Excellence, delivering top-tier analytics, insights, and reporting across M&C Saatchi’s network.

Managing 50+ briefs monthly and leveraging a cutting-edge data stack, the team has rapidly gained senior support and drives data-powered decision-making for major brands, charities, and foundations.

Beyond client work, we spearhead the Data-Driven Decision Revolution—democratizing data, enhancing literacy, and building smart tools for agile decision-making. Working on both internal and client projects, you’ll extract cultural, consumer, and market insights to fuel strategic campaigns.

🔎 ABOUT THE ROLE - What You’ll Do
Responsibilities:

As the Senior Data Analyst/Planner, you will be central to supporting the wider strategy and business leads, within the creative, consulting and media agencies, in the day-to-day provision of data and analysis from our Intelligence Platform, a curated data stack of tools and resources powering the M&C Saatchi Group. You enjoy mining data of all kinds to find compelling stories and narratives which will transform data into creative opportunity and business growth.

This role be based in our Bangalore office but is a global role in a global organisation.  There will sometimes be a requirement to work outside of core hours, most likely to be London and/or US time zones.

You Are Good At:

  • Uncover Narratives: Source, blend, and apply the best data to answer business questions quickly. Identify trends and behaviours across different markets and industries.
  • Bring Data to Life: Transform complex datasets into compelling, easy-to-understand narratives and client deliverables whether it is a simple email, a fully fledge deck or dashing dashboard.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Work with a range of tools (GWI, Brandwatch, SimilarWeb, Euromonitor) and learn new ones along the way.
  • Push Boundaries & Innovate: Bring fresh ideas, experiment, and drive new initiatives within the team – Technologic insight creativity is our core positioning - We are looking for someone who can bring new initiatives to the table, whether it is about supercharging our deliverables or optimising our ways of working.
  • Prioritise Data-driven, Actionable Insights: you are highly detail-oriented and committed to delivering flawless, high-impact deliverables that focus on the So What!

Key Initiatives You’ll support on:

  • Automating data sourcing for Cultural Power, our newly launched global intelligence product.
  • Launching a global insights program with workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions to make people across the network fall in love with data.
  • Experimenting with AI-driven tools and automation to streamline reporting.
  • Enhancing our intelligence capabilities by onboarding new data sources.
  • Building Opportunity Finder, a dashboard that identifies industry shifts for new business opportunities.

What You Bring:

  • 5 to 6 years in a Data and Research division in an advertising or research business
  • High attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Brutal simplicity—we value short, high-impact decks that focus on the "so what?"
  • Prior knowledge of SaaS platforms such as Social Listening Softwares (i.e. Brandwatch), Panel Data (i.e. GlobalWebIndex), Trends & Influencer Libraries, and Web Analytics platforms (i.e. Similarweb/SEMRush).
  • Sharp analytical mindset—spotting trends, patterns, and market opportunities, translating them into clear, actionable insights.
  • Design awareness—transforming great insights into compelling presentations.
  • Interpersonal skills — ability to adapt to work across teams, industries, and business challenges.


Desirable Skills:

  • Digital marketing or advertising analytics experience—or a strong desire to learn fast.
  • Ability to influence and build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Basics of Python coding, business intelligence, and data analysis skills (or practical interest in non-core areas of study including economics, maths/stats, data science for example).
