Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer on our Data Management team, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering data-driven solutions using Microsoft Azure. This is a collaborative environment where your expertise in data processing and reporting will directly influence business decisions and market strategies. You will model business workflows, develop ETL processes, and create insightful reports. You will work with a diverse range of data sources, enhancing our understanding of customer needs and market trends. We are looking for a Data Engineer to work with data processing and reporting topics. On daily basis, you will:

• Model business workflows using business unit proprietary framework based on Microsoft Azure
• Develop ETLs for data collection and processing by developing framework specific configuration
• Develop front-end business interfaces 
• Work closely with our application development teams and Product Owner to address business requirements 
• Work with large variety of MS Azure Cloud components like Azure SQL Databases, Azure Analysis Services, Microsoft PowerBI Premium and many others
• Be responsible for regular monitoring of our dataflows and immediately addressing databases issues and problems

 

You will work with:

• Variety of data types and sources
• Framework specific configuration metadata 
• ETL and SQL database tools (MS SQL Server)
• Microsoft Azure Cloud environment 
• Microsoft Power Solutions (PowerQuery, PowerPivot, PowerBI)

You have:

• 2+ years of professional experience in data modelling, processing, and warehousing using Microsoft MS SQL Server and T-SQL
• Experience in developing and maintaining ETL processes, as well as good understanding of RDBMS model and database design
• Experience in use of Microsoft Power Solutions

It would be nice if you also have:

• Experience in designing or working with cloud environments (Microsoft Azure preferred)
• Experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements
• Experience in working with Microsoft PowerBI and Symantic Data models
