In view of the recent development and expansion, the Research Office (RO) is now looking for a proactive and meticulous professional to manage IT and data management projects.

Responsibilities:

• Enhance, manage, and provide advice for the Integrated Research Information and Management System and different university systems;
• Ensure system and data integrity, support regular data maintenance and reporting, and coordinate data collection exercises;
• Assist in the development of policies, guidelines, manuals, and training materials;
• Develop and maintain effective partnerships with internal stakeholders, IT teams, system workgroups, and external vendors;
• Provide support for IT project management and outreach initiatives; and
• Carry out ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• A good bachelor’s degree or above in Information Technology, Information System, Statistics, and Science related disciplines;
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in information system management and/or data management;
• An excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, good analytical ability, good sense of data, and a strong sense of responsibility; and
• Proactivity, maturity, meticulousness, readiness to accept challenges, capability in multitasking, and independence at work.

The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of 2 years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
