About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to lead YouAppi’s machine learning efforts. This is a hands-on role that involves research, development, and ongoing optimization of our existing models.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Data Science and Machine Learning domain within the company
• Research, develop, and fine-tune machine learning models and algorithms
• Collaborate with engineers to integrate models into a big data production environment
• Work closely with Product and Business Development teams to address business needs with data-driven solutions
• Monitor model performance in production and apply continuous improvements

Requirements

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience developing production-grade machine learning models
• Proven experience with full ML pipeline: data extraction, transformation, analysis, enrichment, training, and inference
• Proficiency in data science tools (e.g., Jupyter Notebook, Pandas, scikit-learn)
• Hands-on experience with big data frameworks (preferably Spark)
• Strong skills in Python and SQL
• Experience building models based on tabular data
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
