Job Description:

TITLE: Predict optimum probe location/derisk probe location Machine Learning/Deep Learning Neural Networks 

Aircrafts and rotorcraft have probes in the fuselage that are used to measure flight parameters such as speed and velocity. The goal of the project is to explore the idea of using neural networks to predict the location of the probes or to derisk their current position due to other changes in aircraft configuration. 

Job scope (core activities):

You will be involved in understanding external aerodynamic flows and working of pitot tube, static ports in an aircraft/rotorcraft. You will be expected to develop a model that can predict the ideal location of the probes using existing computational/experimental data. 

Required Domain Expertise: 

• Python 

• Experience in machine learning (tools like tensorflow/pytorch)

• Compressible Flow Aerodynamics

Area: 

• Aerospace Engineering 

Education: 

• Engg. background with exposure to Machine Learning & Deep Learning

Soft skills: 

• Ability to work independently & in a transnational team.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Flexibility & Adaptability
