Design Methodologies and Tools Engineer

Performs semiconductor design engineering assignments including developing and applying computer aided design (CAD) engineering methods, theories, and research techniques in support of the company's in-house microcontroller and related product development. Responsible for planning technical projects in the design and development of CAD software in the investigation and solution of technical problems. Develop solutions based on requirements and implementing the solutions for the circuit simulator. Define and select new approaches and implementation of CAD software engineering applications and design specifications and parameters. Assess architecture and hardware limitations and develop routine and utility programs. Specify materials, equipment and supplies required for completion of projects and evaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products or services. Prepare design specifications analysis and recommendations for presentation and approval.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Engineering (with related variants such as VLSI or Physics), foreign equivalent or related field.

Two (2) years of experience in job offered, Research Assistant, Intern, or related occupations.

Required skills:

Position requires experience in:

• Python and C,
• MATLAB
• Deep Learning;
• GPU and Multi-Core Programming;
• Numerical methods; and
• Complex matrix theory.
