Job Description:

GDIT has an exciting opening for a GIS Analyst supporting U.S. Army Europe and AFRICOM as a member of our EMITS Program Team in Stuttgart Germany

HOW A GIS ANALYST WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Support customer operations by engaging and collecting customer requirements, designing and proposing workflows, and producing, implementing, and maintaining products and tools.
  • Produce custom geospatial products in support of Joint Operations within the AFRICOM AOR by incorporating, geo-enabling, and visualizing data from Programs of Record (POR) and Systems of Record (SOR) into enterprise geospatial solutions.
  • Design, develop, publish, and maintain enterprise geospatial products utilizing Esri based solutions, to include ArcGIS Pro, Esri Enterprise Portal, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Dashboards and ArcGIS Story Maps.
  • Apply knowledge of developer tools such as ArcGIS API, Python, and ArcGIS Arcade, with general experience in designing user interfaces.
  • Prepare concept papers, background analyses, and briefings to build support for the use of data visualization and data science techniques for internal and external audiences.
  • Have the ability and adeptness to liaison and integrate static and live data sources from all directorates and disciplines in support of customer mission set.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility
  • DoD 8750 IAT Level II certification
  • Qualify for German TESA
  • Position will require modified shift work.

TESA Requirements:

Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of recent specialized experience or

Associate's degree plus 7 years of recent specialized experience or

Major certification plus 7 years of recent specialized experience or

11 years of recent specialized experience.

The likely salary range for this position is $91,811 - $115,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
