We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Cloud Data Engineering with 15+ years of hands-on experience in leading large-scale data engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in data migration, cloud data platforms, analytics, and data governance, along with proven leadership in modernizing enterprise data infrastructure.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end cloud data and reporting migration initiatives across complex environments.
• Drive data modernization strategies, architecture, and governance efforts using modern cloud platforms (PaaS, iPaaS).
• Architect and implement scalable data lakes and data warehouse solutions.
• Guide cloud adoption strategies across public and private models, focusing on platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, Synapse, and others.
• Manage the delivery of large-scale application and data migrations to cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Oversee the implementation of enterprise data strategies, including Master Data Management (MDM) and Enterprise Data Warehousing.
• Utilize an analytical, data-driven approach to understand rapidly changing business needs and support decision-making.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams to define and implement Agile, Scrum, and Continuous Delivery practices.
• Stay updated with emerging data engineering trends and technologies.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership in container orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience with data migration and reporting migration projects.
• Deep knowledge of cloud data technologies like Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, Synapse.
• Experience with integration platforms (iPaaS) and cloud deployment (PaaS).
• Strong understanding of enterprise analytics, reporting, and data governance.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Solid background in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields (BE / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech / MCA / M.Sc / MBA)
