Requirements

Job Purpose

• An experienced Data Governance Manager to lead our data governance initiatives. The successful candidate will manage a team and will be responsible for defining and executing data privacy, data quality, and data governance frameworks and policies. This role is crucial in ensuring that our data assets are managed effectively and used responsibly.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and standards.
• Oversee data quality initiatives to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
• Lead and manage a team of data governance professionals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote data governance best practices.
• Monitor and report on data governance metrics and KPIs.
• Provide training and support to staff on data governance and data management practices.
• Identify and mitigate data-related risks.

Education/ Professional Qualification & Professional Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Proven experience in data governance, data quality, and data privacy.
• Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and best practices.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with data governance tools and technologies.
• Minimum of 4 years relevant Data Governance and People Manager Experience required:
• Certification in data governance or data management (e.g., CDMP, DGSP).
• Knowledge of relevant data privacy laws and regulations (e.g., PDPA)
