About this Role

We are looking for an HR Manager (Benefits, Data and Compliance) to join us on a 6-9 month fixed-term contract basis. This role will support our small and friendly People & Culture team in a period of rapid growth across our international offices.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent relationship building skills, and a wide exposure to benefits, employee data management and HR compliance across the UK, Europe and the US.

Exposure to management consulting, economic consulting or a research and data driven industry would be highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Some notable responsibilities include:
Compensation and Benefits

  • Review all our employee benefits, across all our international offices.  Undertake an external cross-industry and cross-location market review to ensure our offering is competitive. Find innovative ways to research market benefit and reward packages.
  • Review benefits run through payroll providers and brokers, and make recommendations for processing and cost efficiencies.
  • Make sure time efficient processes are in place to support reward and benefits administration, bonuses, HR-to-Accounts payroll processes per location, and joiner and leaver benefit processes.
  • Ensure that our benefit schemes are HMRC and/or local government compliant.
  • Prepare employee marketing materials for all benefits (new joiner induction and existing staff) - think innovatively around how it is presented to employees in an engaging way.
  • Make sure employee records and systems are documented correctly for benefits. 
  • Make sure our new joiner pack is up to date for benefits. 

HR Analytics and Data Management

  • Review our processes around employee and candidate data retention and privacy, and manage and administer these.
  • Work with our Head of IT to ensure that our employee and candidate data is securely and confidentially managed and stored.
  • Organise, maintain and update e-files and all HR data management systems (HR software, recruitment, training systems etc).
  • Undertake an audit of all our HR data across the business and propose solutions for any issues.
  • Develop our HR analytics and reporting on compensation, benefits and on all aspects of HR including working closely with our People & Culture Advisor on recruitment reporting.

HR Compliance

  • Assist with reviewing and developing our HR policies and procedures, ensuring legislative compliance in all our locations.
  • Put together a plan to ensure that our internal training programmes incorporate and comply with all our employment law obligations in all our international locations.

Generalist and Operational HR

  • Support the People & Culture team on other HR projects as needed.

Key Skills and Attributes

The successful candidate will have:

  • Have a solid understanding of how compensation and benefits work along with typical benefit provisions both within the corporate and small business space.
  • Experience of working for US and/or European businesses would be highly desirable.
  • Highly developed analytical skills with the ability to present data in an insightful way.
  • Organised, process driven, strong attention to detail, strong excel and numeracy skills.
  • Have a good eye for how reward offerings are packaged and presented to employees.
  • Be capable of thinking creatively and laterally around issues with lots of initiative.
  • Good relationship building and people skills.
  • Sensitive to maintain strict confidentiality.
