Data Analyst Intern

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to support a CRM data consolidation and alignment project. The role involves analyzing datasets extracted from Sugar CRM, HubSpot, and potentially NetSuite, which will be imported into a temporary SQL database by our CRM partner, Mareeba.

• You will work closely with Mareeba and Data management project team to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and alignment across platforms.
  
• Analyze and compare datasets from Sugar CRM, HubSpot, and potentially NetSuite within a temporary SQL database.
  
• Collaborate with Mareeba and the internal data team to understand and implement data transformation requirements.
  
• Execute data deduplication processes across all CRM datasets.
  
• Support efforts to reduce the number of accounts, based on agreed-upon criteria.
  
• Ensure alignment between Sugar CRM and HubSpot datasets, aiming for consistency in the number of accounts and contacts across both systems.
  

Requirements

• Data Analysis and Statistical Skills: Some  good understanding of statistical methods and being able to analyse data sets.
  
• Programming Languages: Proficiency in languages like Python, R, or SQL for data manipulation and analysis. SQL is essential anything else is a bonus.
  
• Database Management: some knowledge of database systems and how to query them.
  
• Excel: Advanced skills in Excel for data analysis and visualization.
  
• Skills in cleaning, transforming, and preparing data for analysis, ensuring its quality and accuracy.
  
• Critical Thinking: Ability to think critically about data and its implications. 
  
• Communication: Skills in communicating findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  
• Problem-Solving: Some ability to identify issues and find data-driven solutions.
  
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
  
• Curiosity: A natural curiosity to explore data and uncover insights.
