Development Engineer/Data Scientist IoT sensors (f/m/d) - limited to 24 months

Responsibilities:

• You develop and evaluate new technologies for in-situ monitoring of critical components in cooperation with our development partners
• You design sensors and sensor systems based on current technologies for component and system monitoring for predictive maintenance applications
• Your responsibilities start with the specifications of the sensors and ideally finish with the industrialization of the product
• You perform tests and analysis with our test rigs on site as well as at universities, partner facilities and customers
• You consider the integration into our product portfolio and IT-landscape
• You work in close cooperation with product management and other development teams

Qualifications:

• Master/Diploma in a natural science or engineering subject
• Knowledge in the design of sensor systems for measurement of temperature, pressure, acceleration, and distance
• Experience designing verification setups and conducting verification tests
• Knowledge analyzing data (e.g. in Python)
• Basic knowledge of IoT architectures
• Ideally knowledge of rotating equipment, though this is not a necessity
• Willingness to travel
