As the Data & Documentation Specialist, you will be the regional and global interface for North American technical process data, Technical Data Sheets (TDS) and training documentation requirements and demands.  You will contribute to the BASF Refinish business by managing technical process data, TDS & training documentation for technology and process solutions reference, sales teams selling argumentation, and customer-focused training material for North America brands and North America specific global brands and products. 

As a Data and Documentation Specialist - Automotive Refinish, you create chemistry by...

• Being responsible for creating and modifying technical data sheets in the BASF PIM/Hybris platform for North America (NAm) and Global products.
• Managing NAm process data in the BASF BooST platforms for all BASF brands, OEM brands.
• Supporting development of global and regional technical training documentation for self-guided and instructor-led training.
• Carrying the development and regional adaptation of technical process documentation as a member of the global team.
• Interfacing between regional and global Marketing, Sales and Technology teams to align on TDS and process documentation.
• Reporting of process outcomes, FTE resources utilized and resource forecasting for all NAm Applications projects and activities.

If you...

• Have exceptional written and oral communication abilities in English (other language skills a plus)
• Are experienced with Microsoft Office products and particularly skilled in Excel
• Are able to work autonomously and responsibly according to main tasks and objectives
• Have experience as a laboratory assistant or technician (a plus)
• Possess experience in paint development & application (preferred)

Pay transparency

BASF is committed to pay transparency practices. The competitive Pay Range for this role is $70,000 - $80,000. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
