Production Excellence and Digitalization Specialist

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in operational excellence
• Knowledgeable in operational excellence strategy and has established systems in this field
• Preferably trained in Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, and lean production
• Preferably holds a Black or Green Belt certification
• Knowledgeable in process design and improvement
• Knowledgeable in SQL, Python, machine learning, and deep learning
• Experience in Advanced Process Control
• Knowledgeable in data management
• Follows and researches new technologies
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Strong capability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong communication and learning agility skills and a good team player
• Able to reside in Istanbul
• No travel restrictions
   

Job Description

• Develops and ensures the implementation of the production excellence assessment framework in plants
• Plans and prepares standards for selected lean tools such as 5S, value stream mapping and field management, and ensures their implementation
• Leads process standardization initiatives such as the evaluation and improvement of processes
• Defines and implements standards for machine interfaces, information models, etc., in collaboration with the IT function
• Evaluates the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data collection techniques
• Monitors digital production technologies and solutions, and evaluates them in line with the company's corporate strategy, production, and digitalization strategies
• Ensures the implementation of digital production technologies in plants
• Assesses the maturity level of existing digital production operations and defines the digital operations strategy
• Creates roadmaps and implementation strategies within the scope of the production digitalization strategy
• Investigates production issues and identifies potential solutions through IoT, RPA, data analysis, etc.
• Develops the production system, including lean production system and lean production maturity level measurement, with an Industry 4.0 approach
