We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our AI and Data Engineering team. You will be responsible for collecting, managing, and preparing data to power our generative AI functionalities across our IAM products such as One Identity Cloud, Identity Manager, Active Roles, OneLogin and many others! This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for working with data in a cyber-security vertical. You will help us make a big impact in the security marketplace as we grow from that foundation and into new markets world-wide. Come join our hard working team and tell us your story!

Responsibilities

• You will have the freedom to design and implement data collection processes from various sources and integrate data from multiple systems and ensure data consistency and accuracy.
• You will develop and maintain scalable data pipelines, and also implement data storage solutions that ensure high availability and performance.
• You will use your creativity to clean, preprocess, and transform raw data into usable formats for AI models.
• You will ensure data quality and integrity through regular audits and validation.
• You will implement data security measures to protect sensitive information and maintain compliance with data privacy regulations.
• You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including AI researchers, software engineers, and product managers.

Qualifications

• Technical Skills:

• You should be proficient in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and Java.

• You should have experience with data processing frameworks like Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka.

• You should have strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

• You should be familiar with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data services.

• Experience:

• You should have 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.

• You should have experience with building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes.

• You should be familiar with big data technologies and handling large datasets.

• Soft Skills:

• You should have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• You should have strong communication and collaboration abilities.

• You should be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with machine learning and AI data requirements.
• Experience with cyber security data
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Understanding of data privacy laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
