Your Role

At AlGooru, we're not just building a platform; we're building a future where personalized learning is accessible to everyone. As our Data Analyst, you’ll be at the heart of the Insights tribe, driving impact by:

1. Drive data-informed financial and business decisions through accurate, insightful reporting and analysis.
2. Transform complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights for leadership and business teams.
3. Maintain high data quality standards and contribute to building scalable, reliable data pipelines.
4. Help the business identify trends and performance insights through impactful dashboards and data storytelling.

A Day In Your Life:

• Own the end-to-end process of collecting, cleaning, transforming, and validating large datasets, with a strong focus on financial data.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and scorecards using advanced data visualization tools (Tableau preferred).
• Conduct deep-dive analysis into financial performance, forecasting, and business trends to guide strategic planning.
• Work closely with finance, operations, and executive leadership to understand reporting needs and deliver data solutions.
• Write complex SQL queries and use advanced Excel functionalities to generate ad-hoc reports and reconcile data from various sources.
• Apply Python and Data Engineering tools to automate data workflows and perform advanced analytics.
• Provide quick turnaround on data requests and develop scalable reporting systems to support recurring business questions.
• Ensure clarity and transparency of reports by documenting data sources, logic, and assumptions.
• Present insights and findings in a structured, compelling manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

You're driven, passionate, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You have:

• 1-2 years of experience as a Data Analyst, with a focus on financial data
• Strong skills in SQL and Excel
• Experience using Tableau or similar tools for dashboards and reports
• Good knowledge of Python and Data Engineering concepts
• Comfortable working with large datasets from multiple sources
• Able to forecast, analyze and explain financial data clearly
• Strong presentation skills
• Experience working with financial reports
