Otis, the global leader in elevator and escalator manufacturing, installation, and service, is looking for a Data Product Operations Director in Farmington, CT. This role involves leading the development, deployment, and management of data products that generate insights, foster innovation, and deliver value to our organization. This is a thrilling opportunity for an innovative leader with expertise in product management, analytics, and data platform development to shape our data services' strategic direction and drive business growth through data-driven decision-making.
On a typical day you will:
Develop and communicate a strategic vision for data product delivery that aligns with the organization's goals.
Define and execute a roadmap for data product development, focusing on initiatives that address repeatable business needs and deliver measurable impact.
Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery and product fit.
Gather feedback on data products, analyze effectiveness, and implement improvements.
Lead a team of data product managers and analysts, providing strategic direction, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative, innovative environment.
Support agile methodologies for flexible development processes that deliver incremental business value.
Manage resources to meet business deadlines.
Enforce data governance policies and ensure compliance and data quality across all products.
Collaborate with Master Data Management & Governance teams to define data management standards, ensuring regulatory compliance and industry alignment.
What You Will Need to be Successful:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
10+ years in product management, focusing on data, business intelligence, and data science products
Strategic thinker with a history of setting long-term visions and achieving short-term goals for data products
Proven leader of cross-functional teams, delivering innovative, data-driven solutions with business impact
Strong ability to demonstrate value propositions to stakeholders
Excellent leadership and people management skills, adept at building and motivating high-performing teams
Effective collaborator across functions and departments, with a knack for building relationships and aligning goals
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation
Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Experience in presenting to executive leadership and influencing organization-wide decisions
Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience in implementing agile practices

The salary range for this role is $167,600-$251,400. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may change in the future. Pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
