Supply Chain & Retail

Supply Chain Services provides both pre-wholesale and wholesale distribution of pharmaceutical, healthcare and animal health products to pharmacies and hospital nationwide. The business supports a diverse customer base through the provision of strong service levels coupled with innovative commercial initiatives. In addition, the business provides services and supports that help independent community pharmacy to compete more effectively in an increasingly difficult environment and runs a network of Uniphar-owned pharmacies under the Life, Allcare, McCauleys and Hickeys symbol brands.

Pharma – On Demand

The On-Demand business is a specialist medical supply business that sources and distributes pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, and consumable supplies to healthcare professionals in over 160 countries worldwide. We have offices in Ireland, UK, Europe, USA and New Zealand. The company’s main divisions encompass everything from International Sales through Sales to NGO’s and Charities, Clinical Trials Supply, Imported (Unlicensed Medicines), Sexual Health Supplies, and the storage and distribution of medical products and devices for third parties.

The Role

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to contribute to a major technology change project. This role involves collaboration and continuous engagement with key stakeholders to drive innovation and transformation within the organisation. Be a part of a transformative journey within Uniphar Group, where your contributions will make a difference in driving innovation and efficiency in the pharma industry.

Technology Change Project:

  • Participate actively in project workshops.
  • Contribute to, validate, and deliver sprint demos.
  • Define and support end-to-end test scenarios.
  • Engage in system integration testing.
  • Support functional acceptance testing.
  • Assist with data migration activities related to various SAP workstream deliverables.

Collaboration:

  • Coordinate with other application specialists to handle cross-application processes effectively.
  • Work with a diverse group of stakeholders including:
  • Software implementation partners.
  • Software vendors.
  • Third-party specialists.
  • Technical and application support teams.
  • Business key users.

Key Skills & Experiences

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Proven experience with SAP Business Intelligence solutions, including:
  • Data warehousing.
  • Analytics engines.
  • SAP Business Explorer.
  • System integrations.
  • Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Datasphere is an advantage.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with SAP systems is an added advantage.

Nice to have

  • Excellent communication skills in English (additional language skills are a plus).
  • Self-driven, organized, and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with SAP systems is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
  • A self-motivated, organized, and open-minded team player.
  • Flexibility and enthusiasm for taking on diverse tasks and challenges.
