This position is an onsite opportunity in the Abbott Diabetes Care Division. Come join Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC) Global Supply Chain Digital Solutions team. You will focus on building, enhancing, and maintaining our digital solutions, databases, and tools, including advanced planning systems, Datalake, DataMart, Power BI, and SharePoint. Ensure we have systems, tools, and processes in place that produce good results, helping drive faster and more informed decisions by the business. This includes working with Corporate, Cross-Divisional, and Divisional teams outside ADC Supply Chain in Operations, Finance, Demand, Commercial & Operations, and IT to deliver on both projects and operational.

This is an onsite opportunity in Alameda, CA .

What You’ll Work On 

•Develop processes that help streamline our Supply Chain workflows, including creating digital solutions that reduce manual tasks.

•Troubleshoot issues and work through resolutions with IT and/or users.

•Conduct training on enhancements, documentation, processes, and functionalities of the tools.

•Provide support to our users for our digital solutions.

•Lead and support enhancement requests (can include requirements gathering, design, development, testing, implementation, and training) by working with subject matter experts (SMEs) and IT to meet project timelines.

•Promote a continuous improvement and collaborative culture by identifying gaps and proposing solutions to the wider team for possible future projects.

Position Accountability / Scope

•Manage enhancements to the data warehouse and planning systems, ensuring milestones and timelines are met.

•Develop and create new tools or solutions independently as needed.

•Lead and support team project timelines to stay on target, including data extractions, testing, validations, etc.

•Increase user adoption and stakeholder engagement.

•When issues are raised, find the best solutions and follow through on resolutions or workarounds needed with business users.

•Be the SME on Supply Chain team’s data architecture and process automations.

Required Qualifications 

•Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, data science, IT, or a similar field.

•Minimum 6 years of work experience, which can be a combination of work and graduate studies in related fields like Supply Chain Operations, Project Management, Data Science, Process Automation, Digital Solution Development, and/or IT Project Implementations.

•Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft tools such as: Excel, PowerPoint, Power Query, Power Automate, Power BI.

•Proficient with Microsoft Fabric and/or Power Platform.

•Proven project experience with SQL, Python, and/or R for data manipulation and analysis. Desirable knowledge of packages that would allow advanced analytics and data automation, like: Pandas, NumPy, OS, Requests, PySpark, HTTP, Scikit-Learn, etc.

•Analytical and fact-based decision-making, grounded in a deep understanding of stakeholder business requirements.

Preferred Qualifications 

•Intermediate to Advanced skills developing Microsoft Power Apps.

•Intermediate to Advanced skills on Microsoft Fabric Data Analytics Framework: Dataflows, Lakehouse & Warehouse, Fabric Pipelines, and Notebooks.

•Strong written and verbal communication skills.

•Experience leading initiatives with little oversight or precedence as reference.

•Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders' responsibilities and expectations, consistently delivering projects on time, even when tasks are not fully defined.

•Experience with complex data landscapes and unifying/streamlining data sources, including working with AWS S3, AWS Redshift, Databricks, and other cloud-based data solutions.

•Thrives in a complex environment working with multiple digital solutions, each with their own nuances to manage.

•Able to work independently, think logically, and challenge the status quo in pursuit of continuous improvement.

•Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, able to bridge gaps between business and IT, or different business groups.

•Adaptable to change, able to manage competing priorities.

•Experienced with teaching others.

•Comfortable presenting clearly and concisely to large groups of people regularly.

The base pay for this position is

$86,700.00 – $173,300.00
