Job Title: Data Analyst / Power BI Developer
Salary: Competitive compensation package.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing Power BI dashboards, analyzing complex datasets, and providing data-driven insights to enhance business operations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Power BI, SQL, and data visualization, with experience in construction or engineering preferred.
Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support business needs.
Analyze and interpret complex datasets to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models to improve data accuracy and efficiency.
Integrate data from multiple sources, including Excel, SQL databases, and cloud-based platforms.
Collaborate with teams across departments to understand business requirements and translate them into meaningful reports.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across all reporting solutions.
Automate and streamline reporting processes to improve efficiency.
Provide user training and support on Power BI dashboards and analytics tools.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analytics and business intelligence.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role.
Strong expertise in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and dashboard development.
Proficiency in SQL, including writing queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
Experience working with large datasets and integrating data from multiple sources.
Familiarity with data visualization best practices and storytelling through data.
Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts is a plus.
Experience in the construction or engineering industry is preferred but not required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to talk, listen, and communicate clearly in person and over the phone.
