About the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic and data-driven Senior Data & Reporting Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team reporting to the Sr. Director of FP&A. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analytics, with a proven track record of utilizing advanced Excel skills and financial modeling techniques to support strategic decision-making. Additionally, the successful candidate will possess exceptional communication and dashboarding skills , enabling them to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and provide actionable insights. This role will be an individual contributor and play an important part in the financial operations and success of RMB.
Responsibilities:•Develop and maintain comprehensive (and often complex) financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability.•Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and scorecards to track key performance indicators and facilitate data-driven decision-making.•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data, analyze performance metrics, and provide implementable recommendations.•Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.•Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reviews.•Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing expert guidance and analysis.•Partner with business leaders and department heads to understand their financial needs and provide tailored analysis and support.•Ad-hoc financial analysis and modeling as needed to support strategic initiatives and business development efforts.
Required Qualifications:•Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.•3-6 years of experience in financial analysis including complex Excel modeling, preferably within corporate FP&A or investment banking / venture capital / private equity environment.•Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, formulas, and modeling techniques.•Has a deep understanding of and experience working with Power BI, Tableau, and / or other analytical tools.•Familiarity with financial accounting principles and GAAP .•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.•Ability to work independently as well as part of cross-functional teams.•Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.   •Enthusiastic and results-driven.•Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
Preferred (But Not Required) Qualifications:•MBA or advanced degree in Finance or Data Analytics•Experience with SAP as well as SAP Analytics Cloud, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM and Essbase) or similar.•Experience in a manufacturing environment, especially medical device, life science tools / diagnostics or biopharma.
