Job Description

Role Overview: As an Analyst, you will be a pivotal part of our team, focusing on advancing our analytics, processes, and strategies related to data management. You will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and making recommendations on critical data and alerts to mitigate risks. Your role will encompass working closely with various vendors to understand and validate their data, ensuring it aligns with our stringent standards. Additionally, you will provide project management support to our discovery sources team, ensuring the data collected is accurate and utilized effectively. Your analytical skills and strategic thinking will be key in enhancing our organization's information infrastructure.

Essential Functions:

• Identify, collect, and analyze data related to ongoing projects.
• Monitor, analyze, and validate alerts.
• Develop and implement measures and protocols to protect sensitive data and systems.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data is integrated into the necessary aspects of the organization's infrastructure.
• Work with external vendors to understand their data, validate its integrity, and ensure it meets our compliance standards.
• Prepare detailed project scope documents, project plans, status reports, and issue logs across client communications and other channels including Microsoft Dynamics, Teams, and SharePoint.

New Discovery Source Research

• Research new open-source and paid discovery sources.
• Conduct coverage analysis, gap identification, and annual planning.

Data Analysis and Automation

• Perform data deep-dives, analytics, and automation to track trends, coverage, and impact from various discovery sources periodically using tools like Python, SQL, and Excel.
• Experiment with in-house and third-party data sets to test hypotheses on the relevance and value of data to business problems.
• Translate data investigations and analyses into actionable business intelligence for business decision-making.
• Develop insights using Generative AI and metrics for enhancing product excellence.

Management Information Systems

• Maintain oversight on Visa ERP discovery source/tool effectiveness through Management Information Systems (MIS) and dashboards.

Industry Trends and Research

• Monitor industry trends and research new potential discovery sources (both paid and open source).
• Build strategic roadmaps, conduct coverage analysis, and perform gap identification for existing and new discovery sources.

Sourcing and Integrations of Third-Party Data

• Identify, evaluate, and integrate third-party data sources to enhance the platform's capabilities.
• Ensure the seamless integration of third-party data into existing systems and workflows.

Discovery Source and Alerts

• Manage and monitor discovery sources to ensure timely and accurate alert generation.
• Develop and implement strategies for the effective use of discovery source alerts in risk management and fraud prevention initiatives.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Implementation, Project Management, or Technical Support in the Payments or Technology industry.
• Proven experience in analysis, threat detection, and incident response.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.
• Experience working with vendors to understand and validate their data and processes.
• Functional implementation experience, business analysis, testing, training, or technical support experience in a client-facing role.
• Ability to apply project management methodology to manage projects with moderate supervision.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast- paced environment.
• Good knowledge of standard MS Office tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, etc.).
• Knowledge in credit card processing and card processing systems, and relevant certifications are highly desirable.
