Technical Program Manager (Robotics/Software)
Watertown, MA
Tutor Intelligence
Tutor Intelligence is a robotics provider built to serve contract packagers and manufacturers with turnkey collaborative robots as a service, powered by AI.
Tutor Intelligence is building the technology and processes to let robots go where they’ve never gone before: the average American factory. We understand that general-purpose and generally-intelligent robots are going to be built in our lifetimes, and we’re combining human and artificial intelligence to lead the charge. As an AI software company who deploys its inventions directly into the facilities that need them, on state-of-the-art hardware, every line of code written at Tutor has a direct impact on the global, physical economy.
We are a well-funded 30-person robotics startup spun out of MIT, with a software team working across robotics, machine learning, infrastructure, and systems engineering. We are looking to double that team in the next 6 months, and we're hiring a Technical Program Manager to help us scale.
This is a new, high-impact role reporting directly to company leadership. You will work closely with the software team, hardware and manufacturing leads, and the sales and deployment functions to bring focus, visibility, and coordination to a fast-moving, interdisciplinary engineering org.
You’ll define and drive our software development rhythm—owning project planning, tracking, coordination, and delivery—while also supporting hiring and onboarding processes. You won’t manage engineers directly, but you’ll be a critical part of how engineering work gets prioritized and executed.
This role is ideal for someone with strong instincts (technical + human) and experience managing complex software projects, who prefers enabling engineers over directing them.
