About Signal Ocean: Signal Ocean is the technology arm of the Signal Group. Our primary product, The Signal Ocean Platform, helps shipping and commodities professionals navigate their complex decision making. Driven by advanced machine learning and artificial intelligence, our technology suite provides tailored, exclusive insights that support our clients in achieving performance and efficiency. About the role: We are looking for a motivated, curious, and solutions-oriented Product Manager with a passion for technology, data, and product management to join our team in London/Athens.

Help us shape the future of the Signal Ocean Platform, our core SaaS product. In this role, you'll focus on enhancing and streamlining the workflows of key personas, strengthening the product’s unique selling points.

You’ll build deep knowledge of the shipping industry and our platform, bridging the gap between business needs and technical possibilities. Alongside product ownership, you’ll support the team in translating vision into execution, shaping solutions through collaborative product thinking and aligning with broader company objectives.

Requirements

What you will do in this role:

  • Efficiently develop a deep understanding of our large-scale SaaS platform and the business problems it solves, through hands-on product and data work
  • Contribute to the collection and organisation of product requirements and feedback from both internal and external sources
  • Participate in shaping and executing the product roadmap, working closely with other product managers, engineers, designers, and key stakeholders
  • Translate product needs into clear, actionable user stories, collaborating with engineering and design teams to ensure feasibility and clarity
  • Support successful product delivery by removing blockers, facilitating cross-team communication, and ensuring alignment throughout the development lifecycle
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate new features before release
  • Collaborate with marketing to craft compelling product messaging and in-app campaigns for newly released features
  • Monitor product usage and performance through analytics and produce internal reports to inform decision-making
  • Contribute to a positive, curious, and high-performing team culture

What you bring to the team:

  • Bachelor’s or/and Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience in a similar role
  • 3 years of experience as an Associate PM or Product Owner; a background as a Business Analyst would be a plus. 
  • Working experience with agile methodologies (Kanban or Scrum), ideally with hands-on experience in JIRA and Productboard.
  • Comfortable using collaborative whiteboarding tools (e.g., FigJam) for user story mapping, ideation, and facilitating cross-functional discovery sessions
  • Very good technical data skills, including hands-on experience in SQL.
  • Experience with Python, R, or PowerBI is also welcome.
  • Working experience on B2B SaaS client-facing products/features with a strong knack for UI/Front End product development
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills, with a collaborative mindset and a willingness to support the team.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English (company’s working language).
