Position: Software Test Automation Co-op/Intern
Number of Position(s): 2
Duration: 4 Months
Date: Sept 2nd - Dec 19th 2025 (Fall Term)
Location: Hybrid 

 

EDUCATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS

Currently a candidate for a Master's or a bachelor's degree with a minimum of two years of study completed in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field with an accredited school in Canada. 

As a part of our team, you will: 

  • Build new features into our NodeJS/Mocha test automation infrastructure, including validation tools, device access using specific networking protocols, and debugging utilities.
  • Review test requirements from testers and plan how to implement the corresponding features in the automation framework.
  • Try out new methods to evaluate specific NSP deployment scenarios, emphasizing system reliability.
  • Work with data from various sources to guide test organization and tool development.
  • Proven skills in programming with JavaScript, Python, or Java
  • Strong grasp of object-oriented software design principles
  • Experience working in a Linux environment

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Hands-on experience with NodeJS/Mocha or Selenium
  • Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems
  • Exposure to machine learning or AI technologies
