Data Integration Engineer

• Roles and Responsibilities

• Informatica IICS Administration
  • Administer, troubleshoot, and maintain Informatica IICS environments to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Perform regular upgrades, security patches, and system health checks.
  • Assist in resolving issues and optimizing ETL/ELT workflows.
• Data Management & Visualization
  • Design and develop interactive  dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data visualization requirements and translate them into meaningful metrics and KPIs.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data presented in business reports.
• Database Development and Administration
  • Develop and optimize complex database queries, stored procedures, and database designs to support business requirements.
  • Perform database administration tasks, including performance tuning, backup, recovery, and security maintenance.
  • Monitor database health and implement improvements to ensure system reliability.
• Core Data Functions
  • Act as a shared resource supporting Data Governance, Data Enablement (ETL/ELT/Data Engineering), and Data Insights initiatives.
  • Assist in the integration of data quality controls into technical processes and workflows.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to align projects with the company’s strategic data vision.
• Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to capture data requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Proactively communicate updates, challenges, and opportunities to stakeholders across departments.
  • Provide training and knowledge sharing to drive data literacy and best practices within the organization.
• Continuous Improvement and Support
  • Identify areas for process optimization and participate in initiatives to improve productivity and performance.
  • Develop and maintain system health metrics, KPIs, and reporting dashboards.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to personal and team development through continuous learning and knowledge-sharing activities.

Skills and Competencies

Technical Expertise

• Strong experience in administering and troubleshooting Informatica IICS environments.
• Advanced knowledge of Power BI for developing data insights and visualizations.
• Proficiency in  database development and administration, including performance tuning and database security.
• Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and ETL/ELT workflows.

• Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage complex data issues.
• Proven track record of identifying, analyzing, and resolving data-related problems effectively.
