Hitachi Energy is currently looking for Business Intelligence (BI) Data Analysis Senior Professional for the Transformers Business to join their team in Vadodara India. This team seeks a skilled and motivated individual.

Mission Statement:

Business Intelligence (BI) Data Analysis work includes: Analyzing business intelligence data to inform business and product decisions. Blending historical data from available industry reports, public information, field reports or purchased sources as input to analyses. Identifying and analyzing industry/geographic trends and competitor market strategies and monitoring current/potential customer trends. Partners with other areas of the business (e.g., Marketing, Logistics, Customer Service, etc.) to model the outcome of implementing potential business strategies A Senior Professional (P3) applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities may include: Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision. Coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.

Your Responsibilities:

• Responsible for design and maintenance of BU Eng dashboard for measuring KPIs and OKRs.

• The successful candidate will be the part of a global Design and Engineering Team heavily specialized in Transformers design and Components

• Responsible for building visualizations in PBI based on various sources and datasets of BU PGTR factories.

• Work with BU data analytics team to collaborate and expand reports to support all BU Engineering functions including GPG and HUBs.

• Collaborate with various HUB and factory Eng managers for data analysis and reporting development.

• Maintain documentation of reports. Collect requirements from BU Eng management and turn them into reports.

• Responsible for DAX queries / DAX functions / Power Query Editor

• Responsible for development of transformer dashboard in coordination with global Hitachi Energy factory based on requirement.

• Expertise in using advance level calculations on the data set.

• Able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with warehouse standards.

• Able to properly understand the business requirements and develop data models accordingly by taking care of the resources.

• Familiar with Row Level Security (RLS). Basic knowledge and skills for secondary tools such as Microsoft Azure, SQL data warehouse, SSAS, Visual Studio, Power Apps etc.

• Experienced in connecting different data sources in 1 Power BI.

• Adept in developing, publishing and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements.

Your Background

• Bachelor’s degree of Electrical or Mechanical or Data Science Engineering.

• 4- 10 years’ experience working in Data Analytics from start to end process. Candidates with higher experience also to be considered.

• Experience of manufacturing industry is an additional advantage.

• Extended MS Office knowledge & skills, especially excel but also e.g. PowerPoint, etc.

• Experience with SAP / S4 HANA -Data handling Preferred.

• Experienced in connecting different data sources in Power BI.

• Adept in developing, publishing and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements.

• Expertise in using advance level calculations on the data set.

• Able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with warehouse standards.

• Able to properly understand the business requirements and develop data models accordingly by taking care of the resources.

• Familiar with Row Level Security (RLS).

• Basic knowledge and skills for secondary tools such as Microsoft Azure, SQL data warehouse, SSAS, Visual Studio, Power Apps etc.

• Must have a knowledge of Power Automate & Share point.

• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
